The Foundation prioritizes support from eligible 501(c)(3) organizations which meet the following criteria:

• Reflect the Dan & Patti Rashke (TASC) Family Foundations mission and focus areas.
• Demonstrate an understanding of recipient accountability.

The Foundation generally does not support:

• Organizations that are not exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code
• Political parties, candidates or political activities
• Religious organizations where the primary purpose is promotion of specific religious doctrine
• Individuals
• Endowments
• Scholarly research
• General operations
• Past operating deficits or debt reduction
• Event promotion (i.e., golf tournaments, walk-a-thons, etc.)
• Travel or conference expenses
• Groups classified by the IRS as 509(a)(3) supporting organizations
